It has been quite a while since my last blog post, and I appreciate your patience during my unintentional hiatus. Life has been a whirlwind since September 2024, full of changes, challenges, and personal growth. I wanted to take a moment to reconnect, share some updates, and let you know what’s next for me, this website, and this blog.
Career & Professional Growth
Since the fall, I had been fully immersed in my role as a Clinical Research Coordinator. It has been an enlightening experience working on-site across various locations in New Jersey and New York. While the travel has been demanding—complete with hefty tolls and ever-changing schedules—the work itself was been deeply rewarding. Being part of clinical trials that advance research in immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases keeps me grounded in my passion for science and healthcare.
However, this role has also opened my eyes to the logistical and financial challenges of clinical research fieldwork under the current administration. Navigating unexpected hurdles has brought me back to sex work full-time and with a renewed passion of sorts. I've missed you all!
Despite the challenges, I am grateful for the experience and the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking medical research and will be plotting a new course forward in the coming months.
New Challenges & Goals
As I look ahead, I’m excited to take on new challenges that push me outside my comfort zone. First, I’m working on writing my first book—an exploration of the sociopolitical aspects of the world of sex work. It’s an ambitious project, but one I’m passionate about completing. I am considering releasing snippets of my writings here on my blog and/or readings on my Sunroom account.
Beyond writing, I am considering training for either a fitness competition or a triathlon. I still might chicken out, but both have been on my bucket list for years and it's now or never! Fitness has always been an important part of my life, and I’m eager to set a structured goal that challenges me both physically and mentally. The decision between these two paths is still up in the air, but I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
Lastly, I’m re-engaging with learning Portuguese. It’s a language I’ve always wanted to master, and I’m re-committing to making consistent progress. I’m most excited to reconnect with this goal and expand my linguistic skills.
Looking Ahead: What’s Next?
Returning to blogging feels like a homecoming. Moving forward, I want to share more about my experiences—whether it’s reflections on the industry, insights into my writing journey, or even personal musings on life, growth, and creativity. I also have a few ongoing projects social media projects and tours to plan as well.
Everything is all booked for my tour to Phoenix, AZ March 30th--April 4th and I am pre-booking for that now. I am launching a wishlist on Throne, a Sunroom account to replace my OnlyFans, and will be more active on Instagram and perhaps TikTok. Daunting? Yes! Doable? Also yes!
